1 Day Left

I just had my final interview with the President! I am in the offices and am having a good time! I will be going to the mission home to eat dinner tonight and that will be it! And mom, Elder Sellards is going to be getting home with me. I am not that competitive anymore, but this IS a contest, who has a better family ;) I wish I could write you a bunch more but I am short on time. 1 Week Left

Hey fam, just got back from Guanajuato, lots of problems in the travel, but everything good, no worries :) I am doing good, and am still not in the reality with coming home, but I am getting there :) I would tell you everything, but I don't have a lot of time and what is the point if I will be telling you in a week :P hahahahaha But I cannot wait to see you guys!!! :D It is pretty dang exciting!! I will be bringing some gifts for the Cole, Sam, Ann, Mom, and Dad :) Just something small for each of you guys. I´ll see ya soon, Ask me if you have any questions or wait until next tuesday :P Peace out! BYE I love you guys!!

2 Weeks Left

Well family, it would appear as though there are only 15 days until we see each other :) I am very very happy to see ya guys! I took some of Mom´s advice (because I knew exactly what she was going to say) and got the non-essential stuff all packed up. I am already giving away some shirts to the members, seeing what I need and what I don´t. So it´s like a deja-vu of going on the mission but on reverse :P hahahaha 

The teaching is going great, we are finding lots of people and I just gave a talk this Sunday. It was one of the greatest talks I have given. It was about our importance to God, based on D&C 18, the worth of souls. It was pretty legit, and many tears were shed by the members and I knew it was what they needed to hear. Later, in the branch council, the branch president told us he was disappointed in my talk because he wanted us to speak about the goals of the mission plan (he never mentioned this to us). I was about to apologize when the Elder´s quoroum president got up and said the talk was amazing and he didn´t think we could have inspired the branch better. All the members of the branch council affirmed their agreement and said it was great. It was an amazing moment in my missionary history and that is when I knew that we had gained the trust of the members. They are willing to support us in everything right now. I am going to leave this area happy :)

Queretaro Mexico Mission: 3 Weeks Left

Well family, I am doing great. Honestly, I am putting baptismal dates with investigators for after I go. I feel weird doing that, But it is a good feeling, knowing that I am leaving something for the other missionaries that come after me. Today we visited Dolores Hidalgo and I got to see some old faces, and it was awesome. I feel like I am able to give my all and complete what the Lord wants me to do. But as the time gets closer I get a little more worried every time. I am kind of stressed out about coming home, but that is normal before a big step in your life :)

 Anyways, I am doing good, working hard, and I will until I am done. Take care and see ya soon!! :)

Queretaro Mexico Mission: 5 Weeks Left

My new comp just finished his training and he is super excited to be on the mission. He just needs a little more discipline with getting up and everything :) He is a little lazy with getting up on time, but he will get better. Crazy! I only have 5 weeks left! Say hi to everyone for me!! Nothing much to report! But life is good and I am happy!

Queretaro Mexico Mission: 6 Weeks Left

Don't have a lot of time but I got transfers! I went to a little place called Silao in Guanajuato. I am with Elder Vazquez, who just barely finished his training. Don't have much to tell ya but it is pretty good so far!!  But I am actually filling out my itinerary right now for my flight back home, so I am going to ask you some things real quick :) Saying goodbye to everyone was hard, but we got to say goodbye to everyone we wanted to.
